Students in the Champlain Valley region are off to a great start in 2018-19

Students in the Champlain Valley region are off to a great start in 2018-19.
In September, several students from Vermont Technical College (VTC) and Norwich University joined the Champlain Valley Chapter (CVC) for a tour of City Market’s new refrigeration system. While the CVC has a rich history with VTC, we are making a concerted effort this year to bring students from other schools into the chapter’s tours and monthly meetings.
One result is that this is the first year (in our records) that students from Norwich University have applied for the ASHRAE Society Student Scholarships. These scholarships are available to students in an array of academic programs. Three students form VTC also applied this year. Good luck to all of them! Last year, two students from VTC – Samantha Daniels and Masha Goodspeed – received scholarships.
