The Student Activities Committee encourages the study of HVAC&R and promotes careers in the HVAC&R industry, through engagement with K-12 and post-secondary students.
Scholarship
The 2023-2024 ASHRAE Society Scholarship recipients have been named and the Champlain Valley Chapter (CVC) would like to congratulate two students on their achievements! The awarded amounts are significant and reflect the high level of competition among students from all over the world.
Ivy Arnold of Vermont Technical College received the Gordon V.R. Holness Engineering Technology Scholarship named in honor of ASHRAE Presidential Member Holness who served as the Society’s president in 2009-10. This scholarship is for $10,000.
Nathan Steil of Vermont Technical College received the Engineering Technology Scholarship. This scholarship is for $5,000.
