Grassroots Government Activities Chair
The role of the Committee is to encourage and assist CVC Chapter members to conduct outreach at all levels of government. Government Affairs Chapter Chairs are the frontline representatives of ASHRAE Standards, Guidelines, Public Policy Information Briefs (PPIB’s), Public Policy Priorities (PPP’s), Position Documents (PD’s), and Task Forces, to Government Officials and entities.
ASHRAE Government Affairs Mission Statement:
“To establish ASHRAE as a leading source for expertise in the built environment and a resource for policy-makers in the development of legislation and regulations affecting the public, the HVAC&R community, and the engineering profession.”
