Presentation: Designing for Campus – Decarb and New Construction at Dartmouth College

January 22 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Presentation –

Dartmouth’s Facilities Engineering team will share about their recent work in designing and managing the construction of several new dorms and buildings that are linked into a greater effort to decarbonize the campus. The engineers will share:

  • Project overview
  • Results of tools used in the analysis
  • How the data influenced design decisions
  • Review of design parameters
  • How it relates to what you see outside the building.

Outside of the ECSC there are three dorms currently under construction at various stages, and throughout campus geo-exchange bore fields and pump houses are being installed. It’s an exciting time to design and build campus facilities, and at this meeting we will get a glimpse into how design decisions are made on campus.

Shout out to NH Chapter for setting up this joint meeting! https://nhashrae.starchapter.com/meetinginfo.php?id=25

1 PDH credit will be awarded after the meeting
