SUMMARY:Energy Code Update to Mech and Elec Sections of Vermont CBES 2024 & HVAC&R Trivia Night with Prizes!!
DESCRIPTION:Please join us Wednesday Feb. 19th to learn what changes were made in the mechanical and electrical sections of the new 2024 CBES. Steve O’Malley with\, Efficiency Vermont\, who has done many of these code update trainings will be providing us with an overview of the key changes to the code. Note that the new code went into effect July 2024 and the rule is that if a building has had any major permits pulled before that date\, it should follow the old code CBES 2020. If permits are pulled after July 2024\, the project must follow the new energy code. \nAfter the code training is done\, we will have another half hour to do team trivia night! The trivia topics will be HVAC and Refrigeration.
